Nursery and School Workshops

Ickle Drama offer exciting drama opportunities for education establishments. Delivered by an experienced and fully qualified primary school teacher and professional actress.

Children learn through seeing, listening and taking part in well planned learning activities. At Ickle Drama we have devised a selection of resources aimed at children from 3-5yrs and 5-11yrs.

Our nursery package allows children to work on a piece of theatre and songs in a child friendly non stressful way which culminates in the children being able to perform to parents and staff. Each session lasts for 30 mins and is based on a full terms scheme of work (12 weekly sessions). Ickle Drama provide full planning linked to the foundation stage curriculum and early learning goals. Many ideas can be used and expanded on within the nursery curriculum.

Our primary school package is aimed at encouraging children to write. We believe that children need to experience the power of writing before they can in turn be inspired to write themselves. Our packages can be tailored to specified texts, or we have a selection of well chosen texts linked to the National Literacy Strategy Schemes of work for each year group from Foundation Stage to Year 6.

Our school workshops can be booked as full or half day sessions and can be tailored to the needs of each school.
